Aeroglass is an innovative material that acts efficiently as a diffuser for light. In collaboration with Institution for Material Science, University of Kiel, and Tiny Rathaus, we have come up with this design that can present the most of the material´s character but also maintain aesthetic integrity. The form of the lamp is inspired by the structure of the aeroglass. Through this mirroring of shape, speciality of the material is stressed. Meanwhile, the star-like shape with illuminating tips echoes the concept of lighting.
